The portfolio ranges from the iconic Dogliani “Papà Celso” to elegant whites and Metodo Classico sparkling wines, including Barolo and Barbaresco. Since 2021, the vineyards are biologically managed, combining sustainability with top-quality production. A vineyard relais welcomes wine lovers from all over the world.

The story of Marziano Abbona is one of passion, perseverance, and devotion to the southern Langhe hills. It all began in the early 1900s with Marziano Abbona and his son Celso, pioneers who believed in the potential of Dolcetto di Dogliani, the area’s signature grape. After Celso’s passing in 1964, his sons Marziano and Enrico carried on with dedication, expanding vineyards in the Barolo zone and modernizing cellar technology, elevating the winery’s quality standards.

Today, Marziano is supported by his daughters Chiara and Mara, to whom he passed on his love for the land and heritage. In 2020, the family opened a relais surrounded by vineyards, inviting wine enthusiasts to experience the Langhe culture first-hand.

The estate vineyards cover around 60 hectares and have been managed organically since 2021, with sustainable practices and respect for the environment. Following a French-inspired approach, the parcels are classified by quality, reserving the best crus for the most prestigious labels. Dolcetto is the centerpiece, alongside Nebbiolo, Barbera, Favorita, Arneis, Moscato, Viognier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.

The wine range spans the renowned denominations of lower Piedmont – Barolo, Barbaresco, Dogliani, Roero Arneis, and Alta Langa – including iconic bottles like the Dogliani “Papà Celso”, Barolo “Pressenda” and “Ravera”, the white “Cinerino”, and Metodo Classico sparkling wines. Every bottle tells a story of balance, elegance, and fidelity to the land, reflecting the Abbona family philosophy: combining tradition, quality, and respect for nature.
